Assam TET 2020 – The Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan of Assam has invites the applications for all eligibility candidates in Assam state. Assam TET is known as Assam Teacher Eligibility Test and it is a state level eligibility test for recruiting the teachers in Government Primary Schools (class 1st to 5th) and Higher Primary Schools (Class 6th to 8th). Eligibility Criteria for Assam TET 2020

All the candidates are required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria

Nationality :-

  • The candidate must be Indian citizen.

Age Limit :-

  • Candidate age between 18 to 35 years.

Educational Qualifications :-

For Paper-I (Class I-V):

  • Applicant must completed a senior secondary with two year of Diploma in Elementary Education with least 45% marks.

For Paper-I (Class I-V):

  • Applicant should possess Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks with passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or BT.
  • OR Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A Ed./B.Sc. Ed.
  • OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in I-year /B. Ed. (Special Education)

Application Fee

Candidates who can apply for Assam TET, they need to to pay the application fee through online mode via net banking or debit/credit cards.

Assam TET 2020 Online Application Form

The Authority will provide the Online Application form at their official website as per schedule. So candidate need to fill the Assam TET Application form with required information such as candidate name,father name,qualifying examination hall ticket number,course, and other details.But applicant has to pay the examination before submit the application form.

Steps to Fill the Online Application

  • Applicants can visit the official website.
  • Candidates have to fill all the fields that are mandatory (Marked with asterick *) in the Assam TET Application form.
  • Candidate Details

  • Qualifying Exam Details
  • Once you fill all the required details, you have to upload the scanned photograph and signature. The photograph and signature upload manually in the format as prescribed in the Assam TET notification this year i.e., as mentioned above.
  • After finishing the documents upload, select the test centre. Contenders can select two districts among which one is primary and the other will be secondary. From each district, you can make three preferences and it is allowed.
  • Now agree for the terms and conditions.
  • Click on “Submit” button finally and complete the process of filling application.

Assam TET 2020 Exam Pattern

The examination authority has provided examination pattern and some instructions to candidates in earlier. Here is the exam pattern, candidate must the know the details of exam.

  • Mode : Exam will be conducted in online mode (Computer based Test)
  • Papers : There are two papers i.e. Paper-1 is at the primary level (I-V) & Paper-2 is at the Upper Primary Level (VI-VIII).
  • Questions Type : Only Objective type of questions will be asked in the exam.
  • Time Duration : Exam duration will be 2 1/2 Hours.
  • No of Questions : The question paper contains a total of 150 questions
  • Marking Scheme : Each correct answer will be awarded for 1 mark.
  • Negative Marking : There will be no negative marks for wrong answers.

Selection Process

Selection of the candidate will be based on their performance on the following sections. Candidates who get minimum qualifying marks in the selection process are appointed in Government Primary Schools (class first to fifth) and Higher Primary Schools (Class 5th to 8th) as teachers.

Assam TET 2020 Hall Ticket

Assam TET 2020 Hall Tickets available from official website of exam Conducting Authority. Exam conducting authority will release the hall tickets in 20 Days before the Examination.
